When song-writer Carol Hasna first witnessed Soula playing guitar, she was impressed with her skill. What captured Hasna’s full attention was when Soula down-turned her guitar and played it like the Arabic Ud Soula then sang with a voice pure & angelic. Hasna was lost for words.

Soula is self-taught, multi-talented artist. She is singer/songwriter, rhythm/lead guitarist, bassist, percussionist, engineer and painter.

One of the highlights of Soula’s career came early in 2004 when she accompanied the amazing Monica Weightman on Bongos and Arabic drums at MOOMBA Soula joined Monica again at the year’s Channel 31 Antenna Awards, this time playing guitar on Monica’s new single “Lost Generation” Soula also accompanied Monica at the Brunswick Festival, high vibes, pride march and black harmony day.

Soula recorded, mixed and played all the instruments on her album. Her relent and versatility is quickly gaining her respect and acknowledgement among renowned musicians and music venues. Her live work includes “Northland shopping Centre” “The Boite “and the “AAWL International Solidarity Dinner.

When Soula played the Darebin concert hall she wowed the audience with her song ‘lovers (chocolates and cherries)’ Soula takes us on a journey through East and West as we float through blues territory. Soul, pop, country, rock and jazz feels. On track 4 she’s a monster Soula plays a tribute to the world’s greatest female guitarist, Ms Monica Weightman

Plot Summary

This is a Story about a young lady who all of her life played music, from the age of six years old always had a instrument in her hands. Her name is Guitar Queen that’s her nickname people use to call hendix because she plays with the left hand and the same with hendix he played many instruments.

This is a Documentary film about the Guitar Queen life so far. Firstly there will show about the guitar Queen’s life, it will be like an introduction of her life, how is was when she was a child. Secondly it will show the up’s and low’s about her life and everything she had to go through to get where she is today, I will also add some new songs and sounds. 

This is not just a journey, it is a once in a lifetime adventure. Like modern day adventure living the life as the guitar queen.
